I tried tu make that ftp works on centova without luck

here what I did:
root@server [~]# /usr/local/centovacast/sbin/update --add ftpd

cc-imaged: not running

cc-ftpd still not running

any idea what Im doing wrong

My dedicated server provider ( singlehop.com) found problem:
looks like cc-ftpd services on centova must run on port 21

my dedicated server has cpanel installed so cpanel ftpd services runs on port 21 aswell.

so, way to soy this porblem is:
change cpanel ftpd port ( chosse any)
after that run /etc/init.d/cc-ftpd start

now my cc-ftpd services works properly.

Note: first attempt was change cc-ftpd listen port but that wont fix problem, so in conclusion: centova ftpd services must run on port 21

Normally you'd put Centova Cast's FTP server on its own IP address so that you don't need to worry about conflicts with other FTP servers.
