Icecast not listing stations
Wondered if anyone knew if there was a science to getting listed on the icecast directory. I have ALWAYS selected in CentovaCast, and on the encoder as well. Station still does not show on the directory.

Thoughts?

you need to look at the icecast.xml file and comment the following

<directory>
    <yp-url-timeout>15</yp-url-timeout>
    <yp-url>http://dir.xiph.org/cgi-bin/yp-cgi</yp-url>
</directory>

you should have to do anything else and it might take as much as 48 hours before you get listed.
