The problem I have is that in random (shuffled) play in the only play list I have, I noticed that out of 300 songs in the playlist, it only plays the same 30 to 40 songs. There are songs that have yet to be selected once. Is there a setting that I missed?  I assumed it would randomly select ALL the songs, not just a select few.

The autodj might have a problem with decoding some/most of your tracks. Checking your station's source.log should show more details about this.

Your tracks might be encoded in a format that the autodj can't decode (such as AAC), in which case the solution is to re-encode them in MP3 and re-upload them to the server.

It could also simply mean that the files are damaged or otherwise invalid, as Alexiu mentioned, reviewing the log should reveal those details.
