I'd like to know if you have any method, product, or service that can monitor when a signal is off-the-air. Occasionally we have to reconnect and it would be helpful to know when to have to do that via an email link to me. The radio program that we use can auto connect but sometimes it's more than just reconnecting. Sometimes the computer actually needs to be rebooted. If we know a signal is off the air, that would be IDEAL!.

Writing a script that queries the streaming server to see if the source is connected, and if is not, then send a notification, shouldn't be too hard.
