Hey guys.
I was under the understanding that setting the listener limits via centovacast control panel sets a max "concurrent" listener limit. As in if I set it to 800 then my stream can have 800 people tuned in at the same time 24/7 (as long as my bandwidth allows it)
Now I am being told that is not correct.
"you'll need to ensure you've got the open file limit (ulimit -n) set higher to allow more listeners (as the default is 1024 which generally will limit you to the 300-350 range). "
"you do understand that to allow more than 300-350 listeners in linux, setting the concurrent listener limit in linux isn't enough. There's a linux setting you most likely need to set to allow more listeners"
These two statements came from the developer of the DNAS. Steve can you shed some light on this for me?
