The YP Hash was working good for several months, but as of the last update(s) clients are reporting issues, I have just started creating new accounts as private but this is starting to be a problem as clients want to be listed in the SHOUTcast directory - one clients issue is it is stuck pending when you click on the Update Hash link

DrO what was AOL thinking when they developed this YP Hash

Might want to try the SHOUTcast forums -- one of the other users here on our forum was a supreme ass to DrO in another thread and he said that he won't be returning.  Very unfortunate, but understandable.

Not sure if by "the last update(s)" you mean sctrans2 or Centova Cast, but FWIW Centova Cast updates shouldn't affect this at all (in theory anyway) -- Centova Cast doesn't have any involvement with the auth hashes, that's 100% internal to sctrans2.

By "the last update" I meant one of the last updates, I have not see this problem in several months, but as I said I now create new user account with it set to private because many of my clients were having a hard time understanding how to set up the YP Hash so the problem may be more wide spread

ANd as for DrO, I think he has been dealing with these type of people for many years and do not think he would pay that guy much mind, that same user that you suspended was also opening chats in my live help till I banned his IP, and and he has already set up a new Centova Forum account -- care to guess which user he goes by now ? Once these type of users cause problems for your biz then yes, we have no choice but to ban them, but we should not let them bother us, life is too short!!

Ah, he was posting on the same topic he managed to insult on so his IP is now banned and the second username he created.
