Could we, in general, have a few more buttons to do common tasks rather than fiddling about with drop down boxes?

In particular, I regularly want to look at the stats for today, yesterday, last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days.  This requires using "change reporting period" and mucking around entering dates.

..and I'm still not sure what "last 1 day(s)" actually means: the 24 hours to now? Yesterday? Today?  I find having to mentally adjust for the servers time zone (US to Beijing in my case) makes my brain hurt.

Another example would be the "Show" box at the bottom of the Countries tab.  Just a button would be better than a drop down box, especially since "all" is the only option in there.  Better still, if the view setting could be set/remembered.
