error payment gateway

Hello,

I have been trying to process a payment for a customer and it keeps kicking back an error:

Sorry, your transaction was cancelled or otherwise unsuccessful.

Details: A communication error occurred between your web browser and the server. Please try again.

 Your account has not been updated.

Ipanel event log says:

Payment error (GatewayStripe): A communication error occurred between your web browser and the server. Please try again.
No Stripe token was provided.

Can anybody give me some clue as to what I missed when setting this thing up?  I have ssl, I filled in al the data in fields for payment gateway configuration.  Not quite sure what can be the cause.
