It would be needed to start directly a live broadcast for example with SAM Broadcaster without having to push any buttons on the Centova Cast panel. On starting the encoder on SAM and playing the live connection, the programming of Centova should stop automatically to permit the live broadcast.

This feature has been available for many years, roughly since the release of Shoutcast v2, and even earlier for Iecast2.

Shoutcast v1 stations however, do not have this capability.
