this has been going on for a couple weeks at this point and none of the stations i use centova with whether they be through a third party company like reliastream, myautodj, or in my own personal test system seem to be able to send accurate song title info to any media player i throw at it. i've tried VLC, Mplayer, Winamp, Windows Media Player, iTunes, and have tried relays with both shoutcast 1 and 2. i am attaching a picture of the output of mplayer. those of you who hav ever listened to shoutcast on mplayer and actually watched the terminal output will see that something is just not right, the whole title field is absent. can someone please help me, it is costing the stations i work for listeners.

Centova Cast does not send song titles anywhere or to anything.  They are delivered to media players by the SHOUTcast or IceCast server.

Do the song titles show up correctly on the DNAS or IceCast admin pages?  If not, please open a ticket; if so, the problem is with your SHOUTcast/IceCast server, not Centova Cast.

well i found adding "disableicy=0" to the bottom of server.conf does the trick. i hate super simple solutions when i overlook them, they make me feel like an idiot. haha

is noted in the v2.2.2 DNAS release thread -> http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=373139#known and will be fixed in the update that is coming early next month - though you can make the configuration change in the interim.
