I am using Debian 6.0,and panel is installed,i can access it via adress:2199
But on end off installation i got this error:

"shoutcast1 did not install successfully and will NOT be available for use
  To try again, run: /usr/local/centovacast/sbin/update --add shoutcast1 "

After type "/usr/local/centovacast/sbin/update --add shoutcast1" i got this error "gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Sorry, an error occurred while unpacking ShoutCast DNAS v1.x.
Installer exited with error, aborting

Note also.. when you using the tar do not use the -z option

oh.. in case you wondered.. it also applies to shoutcast 1 

shoutcast1 , 2, sc_trans.

Can't install it at all.

same problems here. tried using --deps too and no different. tired on centos and ubuntu
I even unzipped file locally and zipped it up wget across and extracted files but centova cant access url after trying to add.

Guess that's realted.

Did you remove the control panel.. I am having connection issues to it also..check to see if you can load it..
