any help will be appreciated.... need a custom player that plays my stream
Hi,

Thanks  My Auto DJ for your help, but this is not work for us. The problem is that player is working fine from Flash and when i click on swf its work for me, but when I embed that swf in HTML, it stop working dont know the exact issue, I also tried with the way you mentioned in your reply but its not work for me...
Can you or anybody help me in that.

Thanks
There are also, most likely (as with our flash player generator) files you need to upload to your server, just pasting the code is not enough. This is not the case with all though, depends on the player

I got your links and it plays my stream but i have our own player DESIGNED for our site... my problem is i can't get it to stream like yours on your site...

If you can tell me what i am doing wrong with my FLA file that would be great... can i send the FLA file to you?
Sorry but you did not provide any links for info about your flash player so I have no clue, ours uses XML and the images in the/ image folder, all you need to do is open the images in Photoshop, if you want to move the images around (buttons, start/stop, volume slider) then you edit the XML file -- see how you can change the coordinates in the  example below

<skin folder="../player_1/images">
  <bg image="bg.png" x="0" y="0" />
  <play image="play.gif" x="8" y="29" clickimage="playclick.jpg" />
  <stop image="stop.jpg" x="40" y="29" clickimage="stopclick.jpg" />
  <text x="13" y="9" width="154" height="17" color="#ffffff" font="Arial" size="11" />
  <volume mode="holder" x="71" y="33" width="100" height="17" holderImage="holder.png" />
  <status imagePlay="statusplay.png" imageStop="statusstop.png" x="13" y="34" />
</skin>

the most likely cause of the player not working  is from not having the flash player provided from the same domain or by not having a flash policy server which allows for the player to be able to work outside of the normal same-domain limitations (as depending on how the flash player is set up to work, if it's trying to do a socket connection on the stream then without a flash policy server it is basically not going to work when embedded).

DrO... your answer makes sense but i used myAutoDj flash wizard player and it plays my stream...

i will see if i can send the player to myautodj
Hi Guys,

Our player RadioBox-HD Player solved this CROSSDOMAIN policy issue in fact it work fine on Icecast KH, Icecast 2, shoutcast native and Shoutcast 2,  for Icecast type server you need to put the crossdomain.xml on the web folder of Icecast server,  the same thing with shoutcast 2, but on shoutcast native version there is no way to put the crossdomain.xml on it, but the solution is to put the flash player on the same server where the shoutcast stream also installed.

Hope that help,

dards
