Installing CentovaCast on FreeBSD 7.2, error when trying to start Shoutcast Server

Hi there,

I've installed CentovaCast on FreeBSD 7.2, and while I understand that FreeBSD isn't officially supported for use with CentovaCast, I was wondering if anyone could provide guidance anyway.

I looked in the Knowledge Base first for an answer, but it didn't seem to have anything for the error I'm getting whenever I try to start the shoutcast server.

My CentovaCast installation is set up to use Shoutcast DNAS with ices-cc AutoDJ source. The AutoDJ function was disabled on the user account on which I tried to start Shoutcast.

I get the following error when trying to start Shoutcast:

"Stream could not be started: Server exited immediately after startup. "

"Details:

Log does not exist; this often (although not always) indicates a permissions/ownership error.  Consult the Centova Cast knowledge base.

Tip: Diagnostic mode may provide additional information about the cause of certain problems such as the above. Click here if you would like to retry this operation in diagnostic mode. "

Looking through the knowledge base, I determined that the log files should be located at /home/centovacast/vhosts/*/var/log/ . I looked there and didn't find any log files. What should the log files be named if they were there, and would simply making blank log files with the appropriate names fix this problem, or am I dealing with some other permissions issues as well?

Thanks.
