I'm new to centova cast and i just found out that you need a mp3 license key to stream autodj in mp3 format but where can i buy a license?

This issue only affects sc_trans 2, which has been deprecated as our main autoDJ software for Shoutcast stations, and just plain abandoned by its original authors.

If you are unable to procure an mp3 license for sc_trans 2, you could simply use our more modern autoDJ software Liquidsoap, which doesn't require a license to stream mp3.

You can install Liquidsoap by copying the following line on to your SSH termina.

/usr/local/centovacast/sbin/update --add liquidsoap
