I have licence key but don't know config file location... where did you put mp3 encoder licence key in order to enable AutoDJ with MP3 encoding in CnetovaCast?

It is located in the web based part, under settings (are you sure you are using Centova v3, if not Centova Cast v2 does not have that option of using SHOUTcast v2 as the server)

I use version 2.2.4, and server is ShoutCast. I received an response from CentoVacast :  in order to use sc_trans2 you'll need to manually setup the individual configuration files on the vhosts, to account for any discrepancies.

So, if I want MP3 autoDJ encoding I need to manually setup the individual configuration files on the vhosts.

The license is used with SHOUTcast 2 and not needed for SHOUTcast 1.9 -- you have Centova 2.2.4, which runs SHOUTcast 1

Not really sure what it is your asking, but you can install sc-trans auto dj if you like, just upload the file to your server, enable and enter the path in your Centova Cast ADMIN under "source software" (you will need to set the permissions of that file to 777 also)

Thank you. I have ShoutCast 1 and last version of sc_trans2 but the license is still needed for MP3 encoding. Without license I receive an licensing error. SC_trans 1 does not support AAC streaming, and I want AAC and MP3. I have to manually edit source.conf of every vhost with license.

Unfortunately that link redirects to the Shoutcast home page now. I see another great article referring to it as well: http://www.shoutcast2.com/

Any ideas on how to receive the key?
