files in subfolders not accessable

Read 1865 times
In an effort to reorganize my stations mp3-show files;
1) using File Manager, I renamed some folders and
2) created sub-folders within,
3) I moved files from main folder into sub-folders.

All appears well.
However, in Media>Options>Browse by Folders
the file structure appears as it originally did, prior to renaming the original folder.
In other words, the Original Folder Name appears, with contents, along with the new sub-folders within.
Additionally, the New Folder Name appears as well, separately and empty.

I AM able to drag-n-drop the Show-File-Names into the scheduled show slots,... however,
the files fail to play as scheduled. It's as tho they are invisible to Centova.

Only new files that I upload into the Newly Re-Named folder are playable.
In spite of the fact that all files are visible in Centova File Manager, only new files uploaded after
reorganization are playable.

I have tried to cut-n-paste files from the sub-folders back into the main folder, but, this has no effect on their play-ability.

Question: how to I fix this.

Sincerely,
Steve A.
You may need to manually update (or purge and update) your media library, also try running "/usr/local/centovacast/sbin/fixperms" from your SSH terminal.

HTH
Along the lines I was thinking.
Thanks,
