Unfortunately, I have the same  :(

We apologize for the inconvenience, but an internal error has occurred. Please try again later.

netix -- when you click server status, do you also get

Cluster host authentication failure for Local server:

If so, the problem is in the Host Manager

What is the authentication key?

Yes, there was a problem, but with the license. I had her assigned to the subdomain. I did a re-issue license key, Centova uninstalled and installed again. Now the problem is not there so I suggest you check using the
/etc/init.d/centovacast status
and
/etc/init.d/centovacast restart
check the status of the license.

Auth key is probably attributed by the authors, and its change will just have a problem with the key when you check the server status.

Yes I did get this working also -- I just uninstalled Centova using this method
http://forums.centova.com/index.php?topic=472.0

And reinstalled -- this time using the Quick Installation method
http://www.centova.com/doc/manuals/centovacast/quickref/quickstart.html

And did not edit the host

and the license failed message appeared for me again as well

Well unfortunately I must also join this thread  :'(

I have the exact same error, have now un-installed 3 times all resulting the same once reinstalled. So will be very grateful to anyone who knows how to get over this, I presume this has nothing to do with the installation being on the same server as my v2 ?

Have noted the below not running?

/etc/init.d/centovacast status

cc-web: running (pid 26474)
cc-control: not running
cc-appserver: running (pid 26067)
cc-ftpd: not running
cc-imaged: not running

Also did a restart resulting in the below?

 /etc/init.d/centovacast restart

Stopping Centova Cast: cc-ftpd (not running) cc-web cc-appserver cc-control (not running) cc-imaged
Starting Centova Cast: cc-control License validation failed; terminating; log:

So the question now is there a problem with licensing which is causing this issue?

Is this correct:  Could not open license key file /usr/local/centovacast//etc/license/license.key

Note the two //

EDIT

Top stuff NOT, just went to log back in to the control panel after doing the above restart command only to find its no longer visible with my web browser!

HELP So what's the next recommendation to try?

Mark, go in and reissue your license key in your Centova Cast account

Thx My Auto DJ for the heads up,  that was so simply I now feel thick  ::)

Never entered my head to look at my license key as had not noticed it was using a different IP and MAC address.
