Title: install.php still exists after install!
Post by: marc5000 on March 07, 2011, 04:18:32 pm
Hi,

I am just going through items. I noticed that the install.php file still exists even after Centova has been setup for the first time.

Perhaps a bash script to delete the file when the admin first logs in? Just a thought.. and security!

Best,

Good thoughts Marc. Though since you have to have some shell knowledge to be in there, most people would be familiar enough to rm -rf it themselves.

You can delete install.php if it makes you feel better, but it is not a security issue at all.  After CC is installed, if you try to submit the form it will fail with an 'already installed' error.

Oh ok! It was just something I noticed whilst navigating back my browser, if it doesn't allow the settings to be overwritten - then I guess it's ok! Sorry about the confusion!
