Title: Relaying on another bitrate / multibitrate stream
Post by: DJ_Ironic on June 23, 2017, 12:23:38 pm
Hi guys,

I need help with multibitrate stream. What I have is two packages on one radiohosting company. One is 320kbps MP3, second max 64 AAC.

And what I want is to to relay the 320 stream to the 64 one. You know, I want to use it a mobile version of the stream for guys listening on mobile data.

Of course, I can stream live to both servers from automation software, but I want to relay even the 320kbps AutoDJ.

Is it possible? I really need help with it, when I set it up as a relay now, second server will deliver 320kbps MP3 also.

No, it is not possible.  You can only relay a stream if it is the same bit rate.

You need to do what is called Transcoding, which can take one stream and send it out with various other bit rates.

And what about enabling more that 320 on one account so it can be split to two mounts on one AutoDJ?But I donĀ“t know, how to do it.
