Title: Disable specific IP addresses (bots) from report
Post by: yoursql719 on June 12, 2017, 01:31:22 am
Hi,

for now there are a lot of little bots and services, which tune-in for 1 seconds every minute to check, what song is running etc. These one second tune-ins ruins my whole report, because 60-70% of my tune-ins lasts between 0-30 seconds.

Is there a way to exclude such bots for reporting by ip address?

Regards,

Centova Cast allows you to exclude one ore more IP addresses from log file processing (so they won't show up in any reports) as well as allowing you to specify a minimum duration (in seconds) for a listener session to be recorded in the statistics.

These directives can be modified by editing /usr/local/centovacast/etc/centovacast.conf , specifically the "LOCALIPADDRESS=" and "LOGPROCESS_MIN_DURATION=" directives.
