Title: Looking To Relay Stream
Post by: ThePlacidMan on May 21, 2016, 02:33:29 am
Hi there!

I have a Centova Cast V3 Server; I am looking to relay a stream however am confused on how to do it. Not the basic 'relaying' process in the panel, but the stream itself.

listen.radionomy.com/mystationname (don't want to give away the name) is the stream, however I have a feeling I may need the server host name and port number. Is this correct?

If so, should I use the 'connect live' server address and port number which is available, or is it impossible as I would need a different set of information?

Hello ThePlacidMan,

When setting up a relay, you shouldn't need the "connect live" information, all that you need is the main station's IP address and port, as well as the relay password if there's any.

Is there any way to SCHEDULE that connection?

No, I'm afraid currently there isn't a mechanism in place that would allow you to schedule switching on and off a relay.

If one wanted to script that externally to Centova, how would one go about it?
