Title: How Can I change my stream name on Centovo Cast v2

Hi,

I don't my question being answered on this forum. 

Can someone advise how to change the stream name.  I have already changed it in the setting to 4Lobos Goa Radio but while broadcasting it shows 4 Lobos Konkani Radio

Are you using Shoutcast 1.9, Shoutcast 2.x or Icecast ?

Icecast and Shoutcast v2.x are pretty much the same:

To rename your stream, please take the following steps:

Step 1. Log into your Centova Panel, and click on "Settings"

Step 2. On the right hand side, click on "Mount Points" tab.

Step 3. Select /stream and then click on "AutoDJ Settings" tab

Step 4. In the box beside "Mount point name" enter in the name of the mount point you wish.

Step 5. Click on "Update" button at the bottom.

Step 6. Stop and restart your stream.

Thanks.  I did the steps what you have laid down below.  However, I don't see mount point name.

SHOUTcast v2.4 + Centova Cast v3.x

For Shoutcast v2 stations the Stream Title can only be changed by editing Shoutcast's AuthHash.

This can be done from your shoutcast page (e.g.: http://IPaddress:PORT), from under the Server Login section.

Hi,
I have edited shoutcast authhash and now I am getting directory error 489  - see screen shot
