Title: WHMCS Automatic Setup Failed

Using WHMCS I got the error below... sent ticket to WHMCS but since it is referencing the Centova system, thought I'd ask here.

Error: Internal error -- Warning: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to domain_name.info:25 (Connection timed out) in /usr/local/centovacast/system/PEAR/Net/Socket.php on line 159

Never seen it before... was working just fine last week.

Thoughts?

It looks like you are referencing domain_name.info for mailing purposes somewhere in Centova or WHMCS. My guess this is when accounts are being created and its trying to mail something out.

Thanks for the reply. Changed port number to 587 in the Centova Panel mails are flowing normally again. Looking in as to why port 25 crapped out on us.

Hello kahfluie,

It is standard procedure for the majority of ISPs to block port 25 by default, so I wouldn't read much into it.
