Title: Installation: Permission Denied
Post by: DJShocker on February 04, 2013, 01:14:31 pm
Hello! I'm currently new to CentovaCast and am having issues installing.

I've gotten to this step:
# cd /tmp
# tar xzvf centovacast-x.x.x-xxx.tar.gz
Next, start the Centova Cast installer.

# cd centovacast-x.x.x
# ./install.sh

Note: if you receive “Permission denied” errors here, check the following:

Is install.sh executable? If not, run chmod a+x install.sh and try again.

Are you installing from a partition with the noexec bit set? If so, try installing from a different partition.

However, i'm still getting permission denied. Any ideas. CentOS 6

Not to sound rude, but I've paid money for this license.

Where is the support team??

The support team is working the helpdesk.  When you paid money for your license you were given a link to it and told to open support inquiries there.

The sticky (http://forums.centova.com/index.php?topic=21.0) clearly explains that this is not an official support venue.
