I'm setting up a Shopify store and have been looking at Zendrop for sourcing products and handling orders. The Shopify integration looks convenient, but I've seen mixed opinions about product prices, shipping times, and what you actually get with the paid plans. I'm also looking at other services because I don't want to commit to a subscription and then find out that I could get the same features for less somewhere else. Has anyone used Zendrop and then switched to another platform? Would you recommend starting with it, or are there better alternatives for a small store?

Shopify stores seem to collect monthly subscriptions ridiculously fast. A couple of apps here, another service there, and suddenly you're paying quite a bit before the store has even settled into regular sales. For a smaller shop, I'd compare Zendrop with CJdropshipping before committing to a paid plan. Check the products you actually want to sell, the shipping options for your main market, and what each service charges once orders start coming in. That will tell you a lot more than comparing feature lists on their own.

Supplier problems usually show up when the customer is already waiting and wants an answer. That's when you find out whether the service behind the store is easy to deal with or whether every small issue turns into a long back-and-forth. Since Zendrop is already on your shortlist, that side of the service is worth looking at before you commit to it. There's a Zendrop review with alternatives here: https://easync.io/articles/zendrop-review/ . Pay attention to how it handles fulfillment problems, returns, and support once real orders are involved. Then compare the alternatives on those same points, because that's where the differences between services start to matter.
