wont install i also tried this command

/usr/local/centovacast/sbin/update --add sctrans

and it still doesnt install

There is no sctrans package for Centova Cast v3.  (Did we advertise one somewhere?  If so pls let me know so I can fix it. :) )  If there's demand for it I'll get one of the guys to bundle one up, but v1 is so rickety and buggy that I didn't anticipate any need for it... v2 is so much more stable/polished it's not even comparable.

i dont know if there an advertisment for it however it would be good to have it installed as shoutcast v1 only works with sctrans v1

The other reason sc_trans v1 should be there is as sc_trans v2 is requiring an extra mp3 encoder licence key.

I have licence key but don't know config file location... where did you put mp3 encoder licence key in order to enable AutoDJ with MP3 encoding in CnetovaCast?
