Title: Public Listing
Post by: twforl on July 03, 2009, 06:02:31 am
A way to display a list of all active streams on the server, including listener count, stream title, genere, etc. - like the Shoutcast directory.

Or, could someone direct me to a script that can do this? Thanks in advanced!

You would ahve to amke a custom page to do this. Kinda like a topsites script. Ive been looking into making a script liek this might have to step it up and get a preview done.

I'm interested in this idea, although I'm not sure it'd be useful to the majority of hosts using Centova Cast who wouldn't want to disclose their client lists.  If we can get a few more me-too's in this thread I'll see that this is added to our tracker.

This option will be interesting for me too, I had a clients directory and now dont know how to make it work with shoutcast and icecast users, and the users likes it, I hope your team can add the option maybe with a switch to show it or not, same as the options to show (now playing, icons to connect, bitrate, etc).

Can be add a option on panel, to be public on Centova directory or not, or to be like a start page, one page similar with shoutcast yp for each owner of centova, to can customize as he want, as centova is used 99% by streaming providers.

Best regards,

OK, this has been added to the tracker for an upcoming release.

We'll probably need to do something for resellers as well so that they can have their own independent directories too, plus an option for each individual account to opt-out if they want to, plus a master on/off switch for the entire Centova Cast installation.

It probably won't make v3 (we've already had to cut a few planned features as it's been a bit bigger project than we anticipated :) ) but perhaps we can get it into a point release shortly thereafter.

Thanks for the suggestion!
