I am streaming through a Shoutcast Server and I want to know how to end up with a Centova Cast control panel that will allow me to view listener numbers etc.......
I have bought a licence but don't know the next step to make the whole thing work.
I thought I would just receive an exe program to install and add stream details and that would be it !!! be it appears to be a little more involved....am I right? or am I missing something? Does there have to be an installation made on our website server ? Really lost.....Can anyone give me help on this?

Yeah you need a dedicated server, or at least a server that you have 'root' or full administration of. Once you have that the installation is straight forward and you are up and running almost right away.
You can get started with this document once you have your server situation figured out.
