Hi there,
One of my clients who has a Shoutcast hosting service with myself is having an issue with Centova where the Auto DJ is not restarting after his presenter disconnects, looking at the logs I can see:
Error during send: Libshout reported send error, disconnecting: Socket error
Error during send: Mount failed on http://5.39.12.190:9998/stream, error: Socket error

Too many stream errors, giving up
Is there a way of changing this behaviour so it will keep trying to connect (or even waits a few seconds then tries)?

Centova Cast WILL attempt to restart your autoDJ more than once. It's going to try and restart it every 5 minutes and it will only stop doing so if it fails to restart 3 times within a 30 minutes period. (you can check your Centova Cast's Event Log to confirm that it did indeed attempt to do this at least 3 times)
What's most important here is finding why Ices (the autoDJ) fails to start.
Unfortunately, as ices is a third-party software product, there is not a lot we can directly do about this aside from providing instructions to troubleshoot the problem.
Usually Ices crashes are the result of the use of bad MP3s, however, a full set of troubleshooting instructions are available at:
