Title: I can upload stream but no listen link will work

Hi there, I'm wondering if someone can help. We are a small college radio station and through an online streaming provider we use centova cast v3. We broadcast using SAM Broadcaster. First of all I don't know if I should be using Shoutcast v1 or v2? We finally got a stream to work using v2 however even though shoutcast dnas server sees the stream, Centova cast states that no source is connected even though the player is encoding from SAM. We then tried broadcasting via shoutcast v1 but no listen link will work even though Centova can see the live stream from SAM Broadcaster. I just want it to be simple as before.

First of all, you Stream Host is the person to ask if you are having issues, as they are the ones who set you up. 

Shoutcast V1 or V2 ?  Well, again, what did the Stream Host set you up with.  It's an easy answer, ask them.

Does your SAM encoder say it's encoding?  Did you hit the play button ?
