Title: unHIDE passwords in settings
Post by: miedzius on February 15, 2013, 07:12:18 am
Welcome, I want to know how to show for my customers their password in Settings? Now its hidden and can see only in page code, but how make default to see normal without docs **********.

Thanks for answer :)

I think what they could do is add in an option box under the password..
with a "hide" option.

Check the box to hide the password,  and Uncheck the box to "show" the password.

But that could also lead into security issues.  So be sure to think about that also.

This would be a useful feature, especially with multiple server types storing the pw in different places/formats.

Currently I use ssh with:
 grep Password= /usr/local/centovacast/var/vhosts/[username]/etc/server.conf
