Title: Starting SC v1 with ices-cc error

Well I have problem with starting Shoutcast v1 server with ices-cc.

I got message

Code: [Select]

Stream could not be started: Server exited immediately after startup.


Log has not been created, which may indicate a permissions problem or
an inability to run the external application.  Consult the Centova Cast
knowledge base.

Binary paths are ok.
Permissions are ok.
I'm not sure about owner because everything was as user i.e. [14756] and I have changed that to root like is with Sc 2 binary files and I'm getting still the same error.

I have no idea what could be wrong.

What, exactly, did you "change to root"?

If you've been tinkering with filesystem permissions, try running /usr/local/centovacast/sbin/fixperms and then trying to start the stream again.

Hey guys sorry for posting in this post...

But im having the same problem!

i cant start any aacount iwht shoutcast1 and icess......

anyone can help me?

Log in via SSH as root and run the following:

/usr/local/centovacast/sbin/fixperms
