Title: Error Saving Settings
Post by: My Auto DJ on October 30, 2012, 05:37:45 am
I have 1 account that, when trying to save any change to the config, I get

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_name() on a non-object in /usr/local/centovacast/system/class_XML.php on line 632

Also the stream wlil not start, Centova claims it is running but it does not have any music history, no currently playing track, nothing

It sounds very much like that account has a corrupted configuration file.  If this is an installation you've been using for awhile and just updating as new builds have been released, it's almost surely the result of a bug in a previous build that wrote out a bad configuration file, which Centova Cast is now (correctly) unable to parse.

If it's just a "dummy" account and the problem only exists for that one account, I'd recommend just deleting it.  If you want to preserve it, though, you're welcome to PM me the etc/server.conf and etc/source.conf for the account and I can try to determine the problem with the XML.

Yes also think it was a config error, I recreated with a different username and it is fine -- I had to delete it because I ran out of accounts but have upgraded my license to 25 so I can send it to you if it happens again, I also noticed port problems but I will post in bug reports when I isolate the problem(s), changing ports for problem accounts seem to work but again, problems are rare  -- I have found other minor issues also but no big deal, will post them when I get a chance -  it seems stable now which is great and sales are really poppin' everyone wants v3 LOL
