Title: partial success icecast not shoutcast

some advice on this would be good.

im supplying a event organiser with streaming, there going to use autoDJ 24/7 and connect to stream live events....

in peoples opionion is shoutcast or icecast better for this?

in anycase, i have got icecast + ices-cc to run: http://radio.klwebconsultants.co.uk:2199/start/test2/

but i cant get shoutcast2 + sc_trans2 to actually send music... it works but no sound and errors saying stream not avalible in the source logs: http://radio.klwebconsultants.co.uk:2199/start/test/

at least at a push i have somthing working i can use, but would like to not be defeated so wat to get everything working so i can test more of the app aswell... any help to get me there welcome!

Either IceCast or ShoutCast v2 should work fine in this scenario.  Don't use ShoutCast v1 for this though.

As for the audio problem, what does the ShoutCast v2 status page say when you get these "stream not available" errors?  And does Centova Cast show the autoDJ as being up and running and connected?

hey,

 apears to be running perfectly fine the UI dosnt report an issue at all, it does cycle through tracks it just wont play music and prints that error in the logs.
