Title: AutoDJ issues
Post by: Edned on December 20, 2015, 08:13:31 am
I was wondering if it was possible to configure AutoDJ so that when a live connection is made to the same mountpoint, the Live Connection overwrites AutoDJ, and when the live connection is disconnected, AutoDJ continues?
I have tried multiple ways to fix this but it does not let me connect to the mountpoint when AutoDJ is running, as seen here: https://i.gyazo.com/acf1eed0624099503d2ce9f93aa424c1.gif
Thank you for any help!
Kind Regards,
Edward

you should be able to do this no problem.
My station is configured this way. When a dj connects it fade autodj out and the live dj in, when live dj is disconnected he is faded out and autodj fades back in.

It may be a setting not right in butt or your dj accounts aren't set up properly.
When using butt even if your server is on V2 you have to use V1 settings in butt for dj:password and server.

If you are using SHOUTcast v1.9 You won't be able to do that, and you will have to stop AutoDJ for LIVE and visa versa.

If you are using SHOUTcast v2.x, you shouldn't have any issues with AutoDJ.  You don't have to stop / start autoDJ at all.

(Same as Icecast)
