Post by: Ryan Bowden on April 09, 2011, 07:45:55 am
Well this is a first time i am this panel,
I have set it up no issues completly fine, but then i tried to add an account and this is where things stoped happening.

Here what i am doing
loging in the admin panel as admin,
click new account
selecting
      type = user
      Host = local server
     Server = Shoutcast DNAS v2.x
     Auto DJ = sc_trans 2

click create then it takes me to a page i fill in all the detail click create. and a error comes up and logs me out.

If anyone wants to see this i can show you?

I'm using Debian 6, also tried on Ubuntu 10.04 same problem.

What Linux distro do you recommand me to use for centova cast v3?

In my opinion it's a shame.
Ok it's Beta, but if they offer a trial or state, that an existing V2 license can be used with the V3, then it should be possible :)
Beta Versions are supposed to have bugs but how to find and how to evaluate, if there's no possibility to run the system at all.
I bought a license because of the SC2 and sc_trans2 support, but now it's only a waste of money :(
A contact to the helpdesk gave me the answer, that development is on hold due to other priorities, that doesn't sound like it would run again in near future.Hopefully another company will release a usable product.

regards

Marcel

Yeah 3.0 at the moment is not really functionnal in a production environment (We didn't actually state that it was, though :)) We're hoping to have a stable version out soon.

But i wonder why you still advertise with it on the mainpage of your site?

We bought also extra license for this version, but no luck :(
