Title: Recent update (3.1.0)
Post by: DJFire_CFR on August 06, 2014, 02:16:07 pm: Im not sure if its just me (or maybe my browser?).

I updated one of our servers to the most recent update Build date 2014-08-05 (3.1.0)..

When scrolling to the bottom and selecting the amount of accounts to view (25, 50, 100, All).

Upon selecting All, It just completely locked up my browser and I had to End Task on my browser.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

But I have second BUG: Sometimes (most in SHOUTcast V1) I cannot save user configuration.
ERROR: Configuration could not be updated: The selected port number is in use; the next available port is XXXX

Unfortunately it wasn't. The very reason we implemented this is because PHP was exhausting its memory limit while trying to display the accounts list on servers with a large number of accounts (in the thousands).

The only solution there is to paginate the list. Granted it seems to be causing problems for certain users per this thread, but that's just a bug (which can and will be fixed), and not an architectural problem like the original issue.

Tried it on one of my servers.

Accounts: 158
Browser: Firefox 31.0

UPDATE:

Lets do a "/usr/local/centovacast/sbin/update" and the problem is gone.

Thanks all, this is fixed and a new build is up on the download servers now. Just run /usr/local/centovacast/sbin/update to update.

This is something of a loaded question... we fix bugs as we are made aware of them, but no software is ever bug-free.

Confirmed. Updated one of the servers with the issue, this now works with no lockup.

Using Firefox browser v31.0.

What about disableicy=0 for all configs in SHOUTcast V2.2.2 ?

Post by: DrO on August 21, 2014, 05:45:14 am: forcing the disableicy=0 option is probably excessive when a newer DNAS will be coming out soon which removes the need for the need of that option being overridden from the new default value.

Looks like there was a silent update of 3.1.0 :) it also fixed another issue I was having where "New template" on Templates link didn't work.
