Title: Album Art Not Displaying- VUimages Missing

Hello I just got set up and broadcasting shoutcast with Centova. I have uploaded all my songs but my problem is the artist name and album art is not displaying
When I check the vuimages folder its full of vuimages.png files that are also not dispalying
Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong and how to correct?

I have a bunch of stuff uploaded with album art and artist info that lists in Playlist Manager, but on the site/now playing/widget shows artist as "Unknown" and no album art as well...what's going on? SC2/sctrans2

VUimages problem is that these are png files  and in config file this is set to be jpg (or other way round)
You need to change in source.conf file type of VU images:

vuimagesuffix=png
vuimagemimetype=image/png

If you don't have access to config file you can convert existing files to jpg and it should work

No dice. :/ Still no album art on my end lol...hopefully this fixes the OP's problems.


Any suggestions with my "Unknown" and no images? lol

You are most likely using ID3v2 tags, which sc_Trans2 can't read. Subsequently sc_trans can't acurately tell Centova Cast what track is playing, which in turn results in Centova Cast not knowing what cover to pull out
