I think you may find the answer in /usr/local/centovacast/sctrans2 --
I see one of the configs (sc_trans_dj.config) has djport=8500

Now I'm not saying that is the port, but I think the answer is somewhere in that sctrans2 folder

ShoutCast2 + sc_trans2 installations use 4 ports, starting at the port number assigned to the stream.  So if you assign port 8000 to your stream, the structure will be:

8000 - stream port (used to tune in)
8001 - Shoutcast DNAS v1 source connection port
8002 - ShoutCast DNAS v2 source connection port
8003 - sc_trans v2 administration port

I'm very interested in this also. I run a station with lots of live shows in the schedule. Is this going to work with Shoutcast2 : SCTrans2?

I am still having problems all relevant ports are opened... and still no connection... when i scan the ports it says the relevant port for shoutcast v2 with sctransv2 is closed base port is 7000 so port 7000,7001,7002 and 7003 are all open but 7002 and 7003 say they are closed.
