Title: New Setup Issue
Post by: xDazedx on August 02, 2013, 05:49:20 am
I am moving from a shared stream to a dedicated server and I am having a slight issue. I setup the main account using my ip:8000 and I can start my shoutcast server and stream fine if I start the server from a command line.

If I start it from centova, I get the below:

Stream could not be started: Unable to prepare playlist for source startup: Error creating playlist: No tracks exist in the active playlists for this account.

Any ideas? Also I saw where this was an old bug but I loaded this up yesterday so I should have the most recent version.

Thanks!

Just a guess, but the error says you do not have any mp3s in a playlist yet, drag some to the "heavy rotation" playlist and try again

Stream could not be started: Unable to prepare playlist for source startup: Error creating playlist: No tracks exist in the active playlists for this account.

Appreciate it. I had added some tracks but apparently not to the playlist. Seems to be working fine now. The last hurdle is allowing the dj's to change the source. Appreciate your help.
