Title: Live Stream cuts out intermittently, AutoDJ takes over
Post by: WRMX on August 02, 2016, 10:41:01 am
During live broadcasts using SHOUTcast v2 the live stream will cut out intermittently and the AutoDJ takes over, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes a couple of minutes. Shows connected status on the B.U.T.T. software being used to broadcast the live stream. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Do we need to disable the autodj before going live? We switched to v2 to avoid having to manually disable the autodj.

You seem to be affected by a Liquidsoap bug, where the autodj will occasionally override the live broadcast, for a second or so, after which it will go silent again and allow the live broadcast to take over. This bug is only manifesting on 32-bit versions of operating systems and the only solution is to switch to a 64-bit operating system.
