Title: ho to downgrade to Shoutcast 2.4.7
Post by: streampakket on November 05, 2016, 09:07:58 am
I have been using ices-cc with Shoutcast 2.4.7 for quite a while with no issues.
I just upgraded to SHOUTcast Server v2.5. and some clients have buffers so how can i simply go backt to Shoutcast 2.4.7

Hello streampakket,

Unfortunately there is no way to automatically downgrade Shoutcast, since Radionomy doesn't maintain older versions available for distribution.

With that said, you could simply to copy over the entire /usr/local/centovacast/shoutcast2 directory from another server, and run /usr/local/centovacast/sbin/fixperms afterwards.

You need to issue the command:

chmod +x /usr/local/centovacast/shoutcast2/sc_serv
